Tis holiday time once again my friends, good cheer and let’s all be happy!
But if we take a look back at the last twelve months, boy did things turn out pretty crappy!

When I left off in ’08 last November it was, Obama became our lead pitcher.
After a year of hard work and watching our portfolios, we certainly ain’t any richer.

The markets were dropping, and the banks were failing, but we thank God for the FDIC.
So in stepped the fed, was the dollar really dead, we all have to blame AIG!

And then things got worse, so put a lock on your purse, the credit market did freeze.
Who ever thought that in the same sentence you’d hear of bankruptcy and the Big 3’s?

Greed and money with no oversight was certainly the Bush years’ theme.
At least we should all be happily thankful we’re not part of Madoff’s ponzi scheme.
And some people have passed, of those we remember, almost too many to mention.
Cronkite, Swayze, and Kennedy are some, and who fathered Michael Jackson’s kids is still in contention!

Now of course there’s Blagojevich, that governor whose name is pronounced nothing like its spelling.
We’d know how much a senate seat’s worth if he’d admit what he’s actually selling.

As Iraq winds down and Afghanistan ramps up, there’s one thing to never forget.
Between that and the bailouts we keep adding more zeros to the amount of our national debt.

For the swine flu is back, North Korea could attack, and Jay Leno is now on at ten.
John and Kate will divorce, unemployment is off course, and terrorists are on the news again.

Health insurance is a concern, no one has money to burn, and still values are down for our houses.
Cash for clunkers was a success, that we must confess, but it applies to cars, regrettably not to some spouses!

Palin stepped down as Alaska’s favorite clown, and Mark Sanford was “hiking a trail”?
But let’s show some concerns for David Letterman’s interns, even though the extortion did fail.

Thus it’s time once again to put down our drills.
Forget about implants and well-tapered fills!
No final films and written reports.
So we sincerely want to thank you for your continued support.

Without our family of referrers business would be harder.
Fee for service beats the hell out of barter.
Wishing you a season of holiday cheer.
For all of us may 2010 be a much better year.

Remember to make sure to get a reliable, accurate, and repeatable reference point when taking your measurement control. Sometimes it may be necessary to flatten a cusp tip rather then use the cusp slope when measuring. You can use an indelible marker to make a small mark on a crown surface to give yourself further accuracy and repeatability during the visit. Also remember to re-measure as you instrument because canal straightening ultimately can shorten your measurement control by .5 mm to as much as 1 mm.
